This month is all about reading for enjoyment. Your assignment is to choose reading material that you find interesting, then READ IT! You may read from any genre. You will receive credit for the month by having independent reading material everyday in class. You will also be given points for reading for the entire allotted time. There is no written assignment at the end of the month. Enjoy!

September Book Report
This month's book report assignment has two parts- written and visual.
1. First, write a letter to an important character in your book. Use the template that you were given in class to be sure that you've included all the important elements. Your letter should be interesting and can be funny or entertaining depending on your character choice. Proofread carefully! 2. Create a new cover for your novel. The new cover should include the title and author of your book. The cover art must depict the CLIMAX of your story.
